Drip Irrigation Repair Albuquerque
Stop chasing leaks and worrying about dry plants. We diagnose the whole drip zone, explain what failed and recommend the repair or replacement that gives you dependable watering again.
Find the cause. Fix the weak point. Protect the plants you love.
A wet spot, a dry shrub or a broken emitter is often only the symptom. We run the zone and check the valve, filter, pressure regulator, tubing and emitters so the repair addresses the actual problem. Lannen’s Lawn repairs existing residential drip systems, including systems installed by another contractor. You receive a clear explanation and written quote before approved work begins.

Common drip irrigation problems
Leaking or aging poly tubing
Albuquerque sun is hard on exposed half-inch poly tubing. After years of UV exposure, a line can become brittle enough that fixing one split and repressurizing the zone reveals the next weak section. If the rest of the line is still sound, a focused repair may be all you need. If the tubing is old, sun-battered or failing in several places, a new replacement line may save you from repeated leaks and callbacks.
Underground leaks we can locate and repair
Not every leak is visible at the surface. We run and isolate the zone, narrow down the damaged section and open only the area needed to reach it. Many buried breaks can be cut out, spliced back together and tested quickly, so your plants get water again without unnecessary digging.
Clogged, broken or poorly placed emitters
An emitter that is clogged, missing or spraying in the wrong direction can leave the root ball dry while watering open soil around the plant. That encourages weeds and wastes water without helping the tree or shrub thrive. We correct the outlet, flow and placement so the water goes where it creates healthy roots and dependable growth.
Pressure, filtration and zone problems
A dirty filter or failed regulator can make emitters pop off, water unevenly or stop working. If the zone will not turn on or shut off, we also trace the valve, controller and wiring. For broader issues, visit our sprinkler repair or sprinkler valve repair pages.
Should we repair the section or replace the line?
Our goal is not to sell the biggest job. It is to give you the most sensible path to reliable watering.
- A repair often makes sense when the damage is isolated and the surrounding tubing is still flexible and in good condition.
- Replacement may be the better value when the line is brittle, heavily sun-damaged, very old or already has several patches and failures.
We show you what we find, explain the tradeoff and let you decide. The result should be fewer surprise puddles, healthier plants and more confidence every time the system runs.

Drip Repair Questions
Can you repair a system installed by another company?
Yes. We diagnose and repair existing residential drip systems regardless of who installed them.
Can you find an underground drip leak?
Yes. We isolate and run the zone, narrow down the damaged area, expose the break and make a clean, tested splice when the surrounding line is serviceable.
Why did another part of my old poly line leak after a repair?
Repressurizing a repaired line can reveal another section weakened by the same age and sun exposure. We explain the condition of the surrounding tubing so you can decide whether another spot repair or line replacement makes more sense.
Why are some plants dry while others are flooded?
Causes can include leaks, clogged or missing emitters, incorrect flow, pressure problems or too many outlets on one zone.
